Our conference facilities are competitively priced with deluxe style camping for up to 30 adults. We offer a range of audio visual aids and catering services. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to any type of function, whether your organizing an annual conference, coordinating a workshop, or creating a new community group!

Wild Mountains caters for its members and those of the general public who are aligned with Wild Mountains vision of inspiring and educating for the betterment of life on earth. We are always interested in promoting sustainability, environmental education and community engagement.

Areas on the Mountain
Designed by architect Emma Scragg, our unique buildings have truly sustainable building techniques and technologies in mind and practice. The whole centre is powered by the sun. We value walking the talk. Main Hall, Kitchen and Amenities block: magnificent pole frame hall with full wall view into tree tops and across the forested valley; hall 15 m x 9 m, with adjoining sun room. Previous activities have included a Scrub Dance with 80 people, primary school programs with 40 children, meditation retreats with over 15 participants and volunteer groups of over 20 people. Hot water is solar heated, grey water is organically treated and composting toilets reduce water consumption.

Four A-frame huts: dormitory style luxury camping off the ground (one with disabled ramp access); views to Mt Barney – ideal sunset spot! Each hut accommodates up to 10 children or 6-8 adults. Sleeping mats provided.

4WD access for last 4.5 km. Assistance provided.

Open Areas and Walks
Within the forest are open grassy areas ideal for out door activities such as group development, games, yoga and much more. Wild Mountains has an extensive range of walking tracks taking from 15 mins to 2 hours to complete and with a low to moderate degree of difficulty.

People with special needs
We are very responsive to people with special needs and can assist with most requirements relating to disabilities or diet. Disabled toilets and ramps have been fitted for easy access for people in wheelchairs visiting Wild Mountains.

Wild Mountains is happy to arrange catering for your function through a number of reputable and well-established caterers. In keeping with its promotion of the principles of sustainable living, our caterers source their food materials as locally as possible and, where it is possible, use organically grown produce. We also encourage caterers to make use of our crockery to avoid using disposable item that will ultimately end up in landfill. To discuss catering options with our staff, please Contact Us.

If you are interested in booking Wild Mountains for an event and are in need of good standard equipment to enhance your program please contact us for an individual quote. Equipment available for hire includes: White board, Flip Chart, Data Projector, Laptop, CD/Cassette player. The staff of Wild Mountains provide friendly, welcoming and effective service and are always available to assist in setting up rooms and ensuring that the equipment is ready for use.

Group Activities
Group Activities also available are gentle guided walks and activities, and camp fires weather permitting.
