Wow! What a performance, what amazing food and what a great job our volunteers did at raising much needed funds for Wild Mountains. This was the first Live Music that I have been able to see since Rowan came into our lives and WAHOO how much fun was it!?!

Huge thanks goes out to the organizers including Hanaka, Rob Price and Luke Reade, as well as all the countless volunteers, Turnsyle crew and cooks that contributed to the event and made my Day...Night - the whole shabang. Rowan and I walked around Turnstyle , hung out with the chickens inspected the Cob oven, enjoyed the sunset where 4 pelican's in fomation flew over (who'd a thunk it in the middle of Brissie?).

Luke, Ko et al manned the Cob oven and we readily devoured the Wood fired Pizza's, for afters a sweet's range on offer including choclate brownies, cakes and with a vegan NOT white chocolate and cheesecake sorbet = Lizz type heaven.

The afternoon kicked off with Pete Hunt from KOOI (www.kooiimusic.com )  starting the show and supported with some smooth guitar work and vocals from Mattie. Claire Cattone (www.ccthecat.com) followed up, suprising me with some powerful songs I hadn’t heard from Claire, with great backup vocals from Julia Rose on a laid back base guitar and supported by Roberto on a cruisey trumpet. Then all the way from the U.S.A., Dana Lyons brought us up to date with the CSG movement through great music, wonderful stories and many laughs.

A huge thankyou to all our performers and the Turnstyle family to whom we owe much gratitude and give much love.

Thanks to everyone who made  possible a memorable night that will go down in Wild Mountains history.
