Fantastic that we have onboard new directors Emma and Geoffrey who were both unanimously voted in at our recent AGM.

In 1991 Wild Mountains first encountered Emma Scragg as a young student whose original concept drawings for the centre later translated into what people so enthusiastically react to once here. As a working professional and now with her own business, Emma‘s architecture has always centered around sustainability. She has supported Wild Mountains over the many years and it is lovely that her association has now translated into a role as a director. It’s also great we have a female perspective on the board.

As a co founder of WiId Mountains Geoffrey Smith has always maintained a keen interest in and given substantial financial support for our work here even though he’s been in north Queensland for many years. Geoffrey’s exceptionally broad knowledge base and sharp mind, his excellent communication skills plus years of professional work in town planning puts him in the ideal position as a director. It’s great to have him back. Go team!
