5 days of exploring and discovery, learning and magic. The Samford Valley Steiner School extended their Earthkeepers program to 5 days knowing that children take about 3 days before settling in and getting the best from a camp environment. This allowed us to add on some special Earth Education activities such as a Ramble and a Viewing Party.


These kids like so many Steiner children fully engaged with the experiential learning techniques Earthkeepers has to offer. They were into everything taking it all in.

Wild Mountains was pleased to host a local Brissie Kundalini Yoga group running a national "Women's Camp". The gathering brought together teachers and students from around Australia, to create positive change and support others on their journey.

You ask - what is this good looking crew doing out in the bush on top of a mountain? Shouldn't they be down town swinging it in the latest trendy bar? Well let me tell you about the greatest impromptu 5 year old`s birthday party.  Not only did this amazing crew of Griffith uni students and local fellas rise to the challenge of bashing lantana in the jungles, creating future volunteer induction safety video's and helping out at Whiptail, but when Rowan (now 5 yrs old) requested a fancy dress party WITH DANCING and a chocolate cake sailing boat "maybe with an octopus attached so the captain doesn't get lonely", did they shrink from the challenge?  No, like true Wildmountaineers...
