Thanks to our recruitment team our VWs have been very well attended this year mostly seeing over a dozen amazing, motivated volunteers turning up and getting stuck into tasks. Great to see most of our vols returning again along with the first timers. We hope it won’t be their last. Here’s what two of them had to say:

It seemed as though we were dancing for joy as the rain finally came down. After the yummy food while the log fire burned, and amid music and laughter, dancers were twirling and swinging as the Boonah Brush and Shovel Bush Band had us stripping willows and surfing the waves of Bondi.

It was great to have the band back again this year… always a delight to have them. It was also delightful to see one big happy family of all ages that included new people to the mountain and babies of 5 months right through to an 84 year old gran all having a blast. We feel so lucky that such wonderful people keep coming and supporting Wild Mountains.
