   Our first school program kicked off this year with 23 Noosa Pengari Steiner School students discovering the secret meanings of becoming an Earthkeeper. As always the program pulls its learners along and slowly but surely participants are drawn into the magical adventure of how to better look after the earth.

It's been awhile since we updated everyone on the progress at Whiptail. What a year so far! Everything from earthfloors, recycled 'tank rooms" , mamoth carports, solar frame instalaiton in preparation for salt water batteries, grey water trenching, clay renders, window instalations and lots of tree and lomandra planting to stabilise banks! It looks fantastic. So far we have had over 170 volunteers participate in the build and we are down to the last stages. In fact we will be opening Wild Mountains to community for the next 2 months for the last stages of the house. Move in date is still pegged for March 2017. As...

I'd been wracking my brain on how I might be able to get away to write songs with my friends for a while. As a new mum, I've struggled to find an escape from the dishes, nappies and gah gah, and was fearful that my new love for music was going to soon fade (I released by first solo album when I was 8 months pregnant).  I love the way writing a song with someone really deepens your friendship and helps you learn more about yourself. Writing with someone is a really personal experience, and for me it can be quite a spiritual release where I have the opportunity to talk to someone about my deep feelings or work on changing my perspective on something that is bothering me. You can do that by writing a funny song or by using your imagination to change a theme from something serious and dreary to something fictional and dream-like.
