Shear joy?

Shearwater Steiner School from Mullumbimby were back for their second year and from what I hear we might have two year 5 classes next year. With luck it may be the start of a new ongoing relationship with the school.

As always with our Steiner kids, that while they can be an unruly bunch their spirits soar and they love engaging with the natural world. It’s testimony to the Earthkeepers program that it continues to excite learners into each step of the program pulling rather than pushing participants to want to experience what’s next while captivating them at each step along the journey. Learning to be an Earthkeeper requires knowledge and understanding as to how the natural world works, experiencing it through using all of our senses and then taking responsibility for our actions by living more lightly on the planet while sharing it all with others.

We look forward to returning to Mullum to see the children again and hand out their Y and S keys early next term. Go you good things!
