What a wonderful thing it is to get an extra day for a VW especially when arent expecting it. Just when most of the jobs got crossed off the to do list board up comes a holiday and bingo more stuff gets done thanks to those who could stay on.

We had 13 volunteers in all who managed a huge variety of tasks. Our strippers put more strips in the A-frames, firewood was collected, the whiptail dunny got a door and a ramp, scaffold was moved in readiness for the final bits of cladding on the passageways, paper shredding, watering the little trees in the ISV forest, driveway drains cleaned out and extended, latches on windows, the amphitheatre garden was extended and the plumbing and steps were put in place, a pole raising, painting window and door trims plus more!!!!

And of course some beautiful music was played and sung, a little koala spotting was had and yummy food was lovingly prepared including the elizabeth cake to celebrate the 3 elizabeths on the VW.

A big thankyou to Andrew and son Seth, Martin and daughter Tusmi ( always lovely to have parent and children combos coming up and helping ), HannahClare, Jess, Tim, Samuel, Tenille, Kirsty, Bruce and Irish WWOOFers Ciara and Gary. Great to see most of these guys returning again along with the first timers. We hope it wont be their last.  Richard
